How do I apply for a property?

Go to the page of the property you're interested in and click “Apply”. Enter your personal and financial details, and you'll get a pre-approval within seconds. If your application is pre-approved, you can then upload your supporting documents directly online.

What documents are required?

We ask for: an ID (identity card or passport), your employment contract, your last 3 payslips, your tax withholding form, a residence certificate, your bank details (IBAN) and a bank statement. All documents can be submitted in PDF, JPG, PNG or DOC format.

How does pre-approval work?

Our system automatically checks that your net monthly income is at least 2 times the rent. For example, for a rent of €1,500, your income must be at least €3,000. If there are two tenants, the combined income is what counts.

Can several people apply for the same property?

Yes, you can indicate the number of people who will rent the property. The income entered must correspond to the combined total income of all tenants.

Our properties are offered exclusively at LokaLux. This means you won't find them on athome.lu, immotop.lu or Wortimmo. It allows us to guarantee personalised follow-up and avoid viewings by “property tourists”.

Are charges included in the displayed rent?

No, charges are shown separately on each property page. The total monthly amount (rent + charges) is displayed in the property details.

How much is the security deposit?

In Luxembourg, the rental deposit may not legally exceed 2 months' rent excluding charges (reform that came into force in 2024). The exact amount is indicated on each property page.
